Our goal at Nimbus 9 is to maintain the fun in the design process. There is an abundance of information and choices available for the homeowner and weeding through those options can be daunting. The first step is for you to share your project details and vision. Next, collect all the pictures you've saved on Houzz/Pinterest/HDTV/floor plans/etc and email them to our firm. We will study the information and formulate a "look" and apply it to the project at hand. Don't be afraid to send everything, it won't scare us!
Step 2 is simple...we come to your space for an initial design consultation. This process will provide us with firm measurements and a greater understanding of your home and living environment. From this meeting, we take all pertinent details and build a scope of work. This scope will be sent to relevant tradespeople for quoting. This step requires a flat $150 nonrefundable consultation fee.
After receiving the various initial quotes for your unique project your designer will supply you with a deposit requirement (refundable with purchases of product*) to start the design process.
The design phase of the project is all about getting the right "look" for your taste and space. We will guide you through all relative products from fabrics, cabinetry, and furniture, surfaces, decorative tile, etc. Digital renderings of your space, material samples, and floor plans will all come together on one table to show the "complete" project. From those final selections, we will resubmit for adjusted quotes and provide you a new quote for approval. Once the quote is approved we require a 50% deposit on the final total to place orders.
After the deposit is received we will order the materials needed and schedule trades disciplines accordingly. An outline of the process and timeline will be submitted to you at this time. Balance is always due upon completion or receipt of items (if you are providing your own contractors). With our help, we guarantee you will love your new space!
